Who Are We?

We are both Natives of Claremont, New Hampshire. Phil’s “Day Job” is as a Research and Development/Service Technician at Crown Point Cabinetry in Claremont, New Hampshire. Jill divides her time as a Social Studies Teacher at Stevens High School in Claremont, New Hampshire, and in the summer as a member of the Shipping and Receiving team at the Hubert’s Warehouse in Guild, New Hampshire.

We came together thanks to our common interest in racing. Phil has been attending races since birth and Jill caught the bug at the age of six. Our common friend of Sean Bodreau is ultimately responsible for our coming together. Since 1989 we’ve been virtually inseparable. Over the years we have developed new interests but one thing remains the same, racing.

As a teenager Phil worked on Sean’s racecar, and Allen Whipple Jr’s team as well. Eventually he ended up on Bryon Baker’s Pro-Stock team full time. Now he is Bryon’s Crew Chief and spotter. A few years ago Sean asked Phil to spot for him, which Phil does for him every chance he gets. Being a Jack-of-All-Trades and loving computers Phil designed his first Hero Card for Sean at the start of the 2006 season. Since then many drivers have asked for his designs, and Phil has expanded into creating Web designs, and Photo shopping numerous other things.

I have been photographing racecars since I started seeing Phillie. It started as a way to document his Dad’s paint on them. I also videotaped Sean when he raced, many times throughout his career. This was a great learning tool for panning with a regular camera too. In the years following I discovered that I prefer to photograph people working on cars. I now photograph for the True Value Modified Series, and anyone who wants pictures of their car, or other events as well. However, my favorite pictures are “Sneaky Sniper Candids” that people don’t expect. Watch out! You never know where I’ll be lurking!

The creation of this site is meant to kill a few birds with one stone. Phil needs a place to put his work on display, and give people a way to contact us for Hero Cards, Web Header Designs, Photoshop Designs, and just plain old pictures. It also serves as a way for me to show off my creations related to school, racing, and all of the other things I’m interested in. So! Browse, take a look, and let us know what you think!
